I'm Dreaming of a.......

Well we've had snow for quite a while already but the amount we got in a few short hours last night was impressive to me :) The power unfortunately also went out but not longer than a few hours. We are enjoying the snow so much this year...it's beautiful and soft and fluffy and the temperatures have been beautiful in the high teens. This new amount will just add to the great tubing and snowmachining we've already been having. Naomi woke up this morning and facetiously said "Mom I think we'll have a white Christmas this year" hehe!

Christmas Treats

The past two Christmases I haven't felt much like doing Christmas baking but this year I decided with the kids' help it could be so much fun! We sure did have a great time...granted I ended up doing the lion share of cookie cutting out and baking but the kids did a great job of egg cracking, ingredient measuring, pouring and mixing. Jeremiah was chief in charge of putting mixed cookie dough in the refrigerator to chill. So...in all 5 kinds of cookies were baked and much much much cookie dough tasting was done by all little mouths! Here are some pictures...
