Birthday (way behind)

Oh my son!  He is quite the character.  An unexpected surprise after three girls and such a fun, spirited fella.  Broken bones and snowmachines, riding bikes, video games, sledding, reading Spider-Man comics, building Lego machines, constant snacking....all of these things are in our lives because of this little guy.  From his gap toothed grin and hug before school to his "no girls allowed" ( except mom because she's not a girl) poster on his bedroom door, he warms my heart and is growing up way too fast!  We love you "jerry"!  Happy 7th Birthday!

Frozen

Winter generally involves freezing...but this year it also means that the pipes and stream feeding water and power to our cabin have also frozen up.  For us this means powering the house with batteries charged by the generator and tanks of water below the house providing us with water via a pump.  Oh spring how I long for your return...in more than one meaning haha.
