Goats

We are going to be attempting to raise a small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats this year and Ryan and his dad have been working on building the enclosure for them. We are recycling an old chicken barn that was here in the yarn. We moved it to a flatter area and built an enclosed area for the goats. Here are some pictures of the progress. And one more picture of our beautiful fall colors before its all replaced by snow.

What are the goats for? Looks like a really nice enclosure...and such beautiful scenery.

Shannon, both Natalie and I struggle badly with dairy so we have been drinking goat milk. It is very expensive out here sothis is a good option. Also we thought it would be a good experience for the kids to learn to help care for them.
