Living in Alaska for two winters now has really brought me to a new level of appreciation for sunshine. In the winter, just a glimpse of sunshine up over the mountain peak brings a smile to my face. I intentionally drive down a side street when I'm in the valley just to chance catching a ray of sunshine on my skin and I can hardly resist photographing the sun shining beautifully on the trees. I took these pictures when leaving the valley the other day. The sun was setting around 3:00 p.m. and the pink sunset on the trees and snow was intoxicating...enjoy!

when I got a glimpse of the 1st photo...sunshine on the tops of the trees (pink)...I whispered, 'Wow!"
Quite often I am amazed when I look at the photos you have captured of God's creation.
